Having released the original track a few weeks ago, Ariana and the Rose have now unveiled an acoustic version of ‘Supercool’.
The track, which takes Ariana’s ethereal electro-pop to a galactic level, is haunting in its acoustic sound. Having premiered the acoustic version with PopCrush, Ariana said: “I’m excited to release an acoustic version of ‘Supercool’. I wanted to bring out a more melancholy side to the song and give the lyrics and melody a chance to really come through.”

Produced by Tom Fuller (Patrick Wolf, The Hics), ‘Supercool’ tells the story of a seemingly confident and self-assured night-cat, whose party girl lifestyle may not be all that glitters. Of the track, Ariana said: “I’m so excited to be sharing ‘Supercool’ with everyone. I love painting pictures of people and this girl’s story is filled with the perfect combination of glamour and darkness all happening on a dance floor. Hope everyone enjoys stepping into her world as much as I have!”
‘Supercool’ follows on from the release of their double A-side single, ‘Survival Of The Fittest’ / ‘Dirty Dancing’, which garnered accolades from Red Bull, V Magazine, Wonderland Mag, NOTION, CLASH and more.
Having toured across the UK and US, 2016 has been great for Ariana as she has honed her unique sound and developed her audio-visual approach to creativity. Keen to shine behind the camera as much as she does in front of it, Ariana is a multi-talented artist. There’s no doubt that her talent and mesmerising sound will continue to capture hearts in 2017.
